Lindale clenched the District 15-4A Championship with their win over Canton Tuesday night at home. Set scores were: 25-14, 25-17, and 25-17. Addison Ridge led the Lady Eagles with 15 kills, 6 digs, and 4 aces. Ella Hutchens garnered 12 kills, 4 digs, and Alyssa Potts recorded 7 kills, 2 blocks, 4 digs, and 2 aces. Brooke Gissell earned 5 kills, 2 blocks; Jordyn Weesner had 4 kills, and Keirsan Sanders added 1. Macy Luster assisted 22 times, with 7 digs, and Emory Schmidt had 13 assists. Reagan Hope contributed 9 digs, 3 aces, and Callie Schmidt added 6. The Lady Eagles are 10-0 in district and 35-7 overall. Next up is Mabank Friday at home at 4:30pm.
Junior Varsity also defeated Canton 25-19, 25-22. Kaidance Smith assisted 11 times, contributed 4 digs, 2 kills, 2 blocks, and 1 ace. Skyler McDonald earned 5 kills, 1 block, 1 ace, 2 digs. Addyson Daughtry had 4 kills, 1 block, Saige Myers had 3 kills, 3 digs, and Emma Watkins had 3 kills, 1 block, and 5 digs. Grace Koustoubardis recorded 4 assists, 3 aces. Baylee Brooks contributed 10 digs, 1 ace, and Kimber Simpson had 6 digs.
Freshmen won in 2 sets 25-10 and 25-9. Bryleigh Jackson led with 4 kills. Brynlee Wilson contributed 2 kills, 2 blocks; Jazmin Castaneda 2 assists, 2 aces, 1 digs. Zaidyn Chamberlain 2 kills, 1 block. Freshmen and JV will play Mabank Friday at home following the Varsity match.
