The Lady Eagles continued their success Friday night in Athens. Lindale dominated in 3 sets; 25-6, 25-10, and 25-11. Ella Hutchens buried 13 kills and a block. Alyssa Potts recorded 9 kills, 3 digs, 1 ace, and Addison Ridge had 8 kills, 6 digs, 5 aces, 4 assists. Jordyn Weesner earned 6 kills, 2 digs, 1 block. Brooke Gissell added 4 kills, 1 block, and Maddy Fowble had 3 kills. Macy Luster was solid with 26 assists,
7 aces, and 4 digs. Jesse Chandler added 6 assists, and Emory Schmidt had 3. Reagan Hope recorded 3 assists, 1 ace. Lindale sits atop the district standings with a perfect 9-0 record, 34-7 overall. Lindale will host Canton Tuesday at 6:00pm.
JV won in 2 sets; 25-19, 25-22. Skyler McDonald had a strong outing with 10 kills, 3 aces, 3 digs, and a block. Addyson Daughtry put down 8 kills, 1 block. Emma Watkins added 3 kills, 3 digs; Saige Myers and A.J. McPherson each added 2 kills apiece. Kaidance Smith had 2 kills, 11 assists, and Grace Koustoubardis had 12 assists, 1 ace. Libero Baylee Brooks did well defensively recording 12 digs. Kimber Simpson added 6 digs on the night.
Freshmen took care of business in a strong showing with set scores 25-12, 25-11. Saniyah Clayton assisted 7 times with 1 ace, and Kenlee Keith assisted 4 times with 2 aces. Brynlee Wilson, Bryleigh Jackson, Makynli Zemer, and Samantha Sundholm each recorded 3 kills. Maci Gateley added 4 aces. Freshmen and JV will play Canton at 5:00pm Tuesday.
