Lindale Volleyball at Mabank
Lindale beat Mabank in 3 sets Tuesday night on the road 25-14, 25-17, and 25-19. Ella Hutchens led the team in kills with 11, and added 2 blocks. Alyssa Potts put down 8 kills, 2 blocks, and 5 digs. Addison Ridge also added 8 kills, and contributed 8 digs defensively. Brooke Gissell earned 5 kills, and Jordyn Weesner added 4 kills, 1 block. Keirsan Sanders rounded out the attack with 3 kills. Macy Luster recorded 21 assists, 3 digs, 1 kill; Emory Schmidt had 10 assists, and Jesse Chandler earned 5 assists. Defensively, Reagan Hope led with 13 digs, and Callie Schmidt added 8 digs. The Lady Eagles are 5-0 in district play, and 30-7 overall. Lindale will travel to Kemp Friday for a 4:30pm match.
Junior Varsity won in 3 sets 23-25, 25-23, and 25-15. Skyler McDonald earned 15 kills, 3 digs. Addyson Daughtry put down 7 kills, and Emma Watkins contributed 6 kills, 4 digs, 1 asst, 1 block, and 1 ace. Saige Myers added 5 kills, 4 digs, 2 aces. Kaidance Smith assisted 25 times, and earned 3 kills, 3 digs, and an ace. A.J. McPherson also recorded 3 kills. Baylee Brooks earned 15 digs on the night.
Freshmen A Team defeated Mabank in 2 sets; 25-17, 25-16. Kenlee Keith had 8 assists, 3 aces, 1 dig, and 1 kill. Bryleigh Jackson had 5 kills, Brynlee Wilson 4 kills, and Braylee Willard earned 3 kills for the freshmen squad. Dylan Grace recorded 6 digs, 1 ace, and Saniyah Clayton had 3 assists, 2 aces. Freshmen A and Junior Varsity will also play in Kemp Friday following the Varsity match.
