Lindale Volleyball Defeats Van

The Lady Eagles defeated Van on the road Friday night to garner their first district win. Lindale won in three sets 25-23, 25-17, and 25-19. Leading the attack for the Lady Eagles was Ella Hutchens and Alyssa Potts who each had 10 kills. Hutchens added 2 blocks and 2 dig, and Potts added 3 aces. Brooke Gissell recorded 8 kills and 2 blocks, and Addison Ridge earned 8 kills, 4 digs and an ace. Jordyn Weesner contributed 3 blocks on the night. Setter, Macy Luster assisted 19 times, and Emory Schmidt assisted 14 times. Defensively Reagan Hope led with 6 digs, and Callie Schmidt added 4 digs. The Lady Eagles improved their record to 25-7 overall and 1-0 in district. Their next match is Tuesday at home against Wills Point at 6:00pm.

Freshmen A Team also beat Van in decisive fashion 25-7 and 25-9. Freshmen A will play Wills Point Tuesday at 5:00pm.
