Monday and Tuesday of this week the Lindale Varsity Tennis team competed in district tournament. The Eagles dominated the competition by sweeping their 5th consecutive spring district tournament.
Lindale Boys District Champions: 37pts
Van Boys 2nd place: 26.5
Lindale Girls District Champions: 33pts
Van Girls 2nd Place: 31.5pts
Over All District Champions Lindale: 70pts
District runner up: Van 58 pts
Every player from Lindale medaled and placed in the top four teams or players in their draw. And Lindale is again sending double digits to regionals with 11 players qualifying out of 16. Super proud of these players.

1st: Kalvin Dryman and Parker Hollingsworth (regional qualifier)
2nd: Ethan Van Andel and Riley Buck (regional qualifier)
Girls Singles:
1st: Bre Taylor (regional qualifier)
3rd: Madeline Chilek (regional alternate)
Girls Doubles:
2nd: Olivia Gorman and Natalie Velarde (regional qualifier)
4th: Kagen Richardson and Zoey Snider
Mixed Doubles:
1st: Amado Cardoso and Brooklyn Cornejo (regional qualifier)
3rd: Levi Browning and Rylee Francisco
Regionals will be held at TJC on May 9th and 10th. We are very excited to see what these players will accomplish the rest of the season.
