Coach Alford is starting his 11th year coaching overall and his 5th year in Lindale. He graduated from Lindale High School in 2010 and was a team captain for the 2009 Lindale Football Team. He played football at ETBU in Marshall, TX from 2010-2013 and was named a 3rd Team All-American Center his senior season. He enjoys playing golf and hanging out with family in his spare time. He believes that "sports are one of the best ways for young people to learn about how to handle adversity in life." Coach Alford has been married to his wife Cambria for 6 years and they have a 2 1/2 year old son named Carter.
